Dr. O'Driscoll is one of Australia's foremost structural geologists specialising in tectonics and has an extensive background in mining and exploration geology. His professional experience includes such major Australian districts as Broken Hill, Kalgoorlie, Kambalda and the Stuart Shelf (S.A.).
Since 1970, Dr. O'Driscoll has been an internal consultant for Western Mining Corporation Limited where he heads the Tectonics Studies Group
