Alaska is the United States' largest zinc and silver producer, contains the world's
largest zinc and molybdenum resources and several large-scale advanced exploration
and developments promise to strengthen that position.
Projects to be discussed include:
Red Dog SEDEX Pb-Zn, Quartz Hill Mo and Pebble Cu, Cominco's Green's Creek and Arctic
volcanogenic massive sulphide Ag-Pb-Zn-Au, Kennecott's Fort Knox granite-hosted Au,
Amax Gold's Alaska-Juneau and Kensington Au, Echo Bay Mines.
