TOPIC: "Panorama Base Metals Deposits - East Pilbara"
The Panorama Project is a joint venture between Sipa Resources International
NL (51%), Ashling Resources NL (39%) and Guardian Resources NL (10%).
The joint venture is exploring 1600 sq km of the Archaean Pilbara Block.
The discovery of three volcanogenic base metal sulphide deposits in 1991
was the culmination of three years exploration. Currently preliminary resource definition
drilling is in progress on two of these deposits and exploration continues to delineate additional targets.
Mike will present a case history of the project and in addition to outlining
the geological aspects he will discuss some of the funding difficulties junior companies have in attempting major exploration programmes.
Previous meeting
