The Symposium provided an opportunity for explorers to present case studies with examples of alternate corporate strategies and to debate the 'boot leather' versus 'high-tech' approaches to mineral exploration, and, as it turned out, everything in between and more.
Sponsors, trade displayers and poster hangers have links from this web page, provided as part of the Symposium promotion. For the record, all committee members paid full registration fees and entities associated with committee members paid full charges for trade display and/or poster space.

".... the idea has prevailed that a couple of business analysts and a spreadsheet can acquire deposits more cheaply than discovering them. This is correct of course, providing that no other mining company has a copy of Excel and a couple of people that know how to use it."
