Ted Tyne has resigned as Director of the Geological Survey. He departs the survey on April 20 to take up the position of Director-Minerals at PIRSA.
Ted has had a major impact on the Geological Survey in his position here as Director and in his previous roles as Assistant Director-Regional Mapping and before that as Chief Geophysicist.Ted will be sorely missed by staff at the Survey. We hope you can attend a farewell dinner on his behalf to show your appreciation and to wish him well in his new position.
A farewell party and dinner is being held on Friday week at the North Sydney Leagues Club on 15th April at 6.30pm, for 7pm. The cost is $40 per head.
