TOPIC: “Geotechnical Engineering – What every Good Geologist Should Know.” Tim, from geotechnical engineers Pells Sullivan Meynink Pty Ltd, is a graduate of Macquarie University and Imperial College and has, for many years been active in the field of Geotechnical Engineering throughout Australia and the SW Pacific.
He has provided short courses and has a book in press on Geotechnical Engineering. Tim has an ongoing role with many major mines varying from gold to base metal and coal mines.
This practical talk draws on his wealth of experience and will fill a gap in the knowledge of many of us explorationists.
