Metallogenic consequences of Laramide flat-slab subduction in the western United States resulted in some of the most important mineral deposits and districts in the world.
Rod Kirkham was formerly Principal Scientist with the Geological Survey of Canada, has recently retired and is now working as a Vancouver-based consultant. He is a world recognised expert on the geology of copper and gold-copper systems. He has travelled widely, written many papers and presented numerous seminars and short courses.
