TOPIC: “Supergene Enrichment in Porphyry Copper Systems” Professor Spencer R. Titley has taught at the University of Arizona since 1960. He is the author of “Geology of the Porphyry Copper Deposits – Southwestern North America” and “Advances in Geology of the Porphyry Copper Deposits – Southwestern North America”. In 1975 he was awarded the Medal for Distinguished Achievement in Mineral Engineering by the Colorado School of Mines. He has served on the editorial board of ECONOMIC GEOLOGY and has published numerous articles based on research conducted on ore deposits in the Pacific Basin region.
