TOPIC: “Cleveland Tin Mine, Tasmania – Case History of Geological Interpretation during Exploration & Mining”
Aberfoyle’s exploration commenced in 1962. Production of tin and copper concentrates from stratiform sulphide-cassiterite ore bodies began in 1968. The mine is Australia’s second largest tin producer.
