TOPIC: “Aerial Reconnaissance Exploration”
Jack’s extensive career has been involved with regional mapping and mineral exploration. Whilst working for the BMR in Papua New Guinea he was credited with the recognition of the porphyry copper potential of Panguna before it was discovered. After working with the BMR he joined Amax Exploration where he was Chief Geologist for many years. Whist at Amax he developed the Jetrex system of aerial reconnaissance. Large slides will be used to extensively illustrate the results of twenty years of its application in a variety of countries and terrains including Indonesia, Philippines, Papua New Guinea and North America.
