The Geological Survey of NSW presented an afternoon of technical talks at Parliament House in Sydney on Wednesday June 20, 2012.
Exploration in the House 2012 provided an update on recent activities of the Geological Survey of NSW including geological mapping projects, new geophysical surveys and interpretations, advances in mineral systems studies and developments in geoscience information systems. Presentation on recent legislative and policy changes affecting explorers and miners in NSW was of particular interest to industry geologists and managers.
The event was opened by the Minister for Resources and Energy, the Hon. Chris Hartcher MP, and featured a guest presentation by Dr Roger Skirrow from Geoscience Australia on Uranium mineral systems, for those interested in the new mineral on the NSW block.
Complimentary registration was required at Exploration in the House 2012 program and on-line registration form
